PART 5: WITCHES

The Witches were the original settlers in the Valley shortly after the Salem Witch Trials of 1692. Founded to be a sanctuary for those suspected of practicing witchcraft the covens built up magical protection around the town.

Magical ability is carried by all witches, but only a small percentage of male witches can perform active magic. Both parents must be witches for their children to be considered part of the community.

Holding true to tradition the Sanction Witches are taken out of school after 5th grade to be educated separately. Powers are drawn from the four elements: Air, Wind, Water, Earth.
